This is one of the cars that gives The MOPAR Power Club its name. This 1968 Pro-Street Road Runner is owned by James C, and really is Pro-Street. Unlike many so called "Pro-Street" trailer queens, this car is driven regularly and raced successfully. It runs 11.20 seconds at 119 MPH through closed exhaust (with 1.5 second sixty foot times!), and yet can be driven home from the track. Motivation is provided by a 440 C.I.D. V8, bored .060" over, 11 1/2:1 compression ratio, .600" lift Crane cam, roller rockers, steel billet connecting rods, a tunnel ram featuring two 650 CFM Holley double pumper carburetors, a 175 HP Nitrous Oxide kit, a JPT prepared reverse manual valve body Torqueflite, 4,000 RPM stall speed torque converter, and a narrowed 8 3/4 rear end with 4.88:1 Richmond gears. Whew!

Above is Tony D's 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Coupe. This Turbine Bronze 'Runner features a 383 V8, 4 speed manual transmission, 8 3/4" rear with 3.23:1 gears, Road Wheels and the "Decor Package".

Frank C. is the original owner of this modified 1968 Plymouth GTX with 36,000 original miles (the miles are the only thing that haven't been modified!). It's equipped with a 440 C.I.D. V8. The modifications include a Tarantula intake manifold, 850 CFM Holley carburetor, Racer Brown camshaft and a 3600 RPM stall speed torque converter. It's also equipped with a 727B Torqueflite automatic transmission with reverse manual valve body and and 8 3/4" Sure Grip rear end with 4.89:1 gear ratio. It's run a best 1/4 mile track time of 11.89 seconds at 110 MPH!
